Overview

The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the world, while specifically working alongside our CEO, COO, and board of directors to help raise investment funds from outside investors while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing our financial performance.

This position requires a deep understanding of financial management principles, the ability to raise significant amounts of capital from many outside investors, strong leadership skills, a desire to succeed, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate compensation for all employees.
Develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization’s goals.
Conduct thorough financial analysis to guide decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

Obtain familiarity and expertise with algorithmic trading and find ways to implement AI into financial operations which will optimize profits.
Help prepare the company and any affiliates to be structured in the most advantageous position, while pursuing reverse mergers, M&A activity, and initial public offerings (IPO) as appropriate for the Company and any portfolio business.
Lead treasury management activities, including cash flow forecasting and investment strategies.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial objectives with business strategies.
Monitor fiscal management practices to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in resource allocation.
Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Experience

Proven experience in a senior financial management role, preferably as a CFO or equivalent position. Portfolio Manager and/or Analyst experience also may be helpful.
Experience in hedge funds, private equity, technology finance, investment banking, financial leadership at public companies, or similar roles, may be helpful.
Proven experience raising, investing, and managing significant sums of capital.
Experience connecting with, and presenting to, UHNW investors, accredited investors, and professional financial firms.
Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including fiscal management, accounting principles, analytics, and regulatory requirements.
